Puppies will be up to date on dewormings (at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks) and vaccination schedule (1st and 2nd puppy series vaccines will be given). All health care paperwork and AKC Registration will be given to new puppy parents, as well as a very generous puppy pack with starter food, treats, toys and a fleece doggy blanket that smells like home to ease the transition into their new homes.

 

In addition, each puppy will be examined from head to toe by a well respected and experienced veterinarian at my local animal hospital before leaving for his or her new home. Full exam record including examination of heart, eyes, patellas, possible hernias, over/underbites, non-descended testicles, etc will be disclosed to buyers in this report, and although it is rare that a problem should exist, if one does, your deposit can then be refunded or used towards the purchase of another puppy when available. Vet exams are done at 8 weeks of age (for your protection- if they are performed at a younger age, tests and examinations may not be as thorough.)

Local pick up is always preferred, or I can meet you at the airport if you fly in (San Diego airport). I will provide necessary paperwork needed to fly, but please provide a soft sided, collapsible Sherpa pet carrier in size Small or medium for transport on the flight.
